Some said that vanity was a sin, perhaps so, but she was the daughter of the master of sin, so what did that matter to her? Standing there in the mirror, which was known as the "vortex" mirror. It saw things, all things that appeared and that didn't appear. Olive hues staring back at her, as she let her thoughts roll past that mirror into the realms of the feared and unknown. She need not speak, her hand just pressed outward, resting upon what appeared to be glass, but her fingers dipped through it as if it were flowing water.
And within that vortex floated her thoughts "I received word from out Comandress, Gracia, this morning. Seems we are going to war with SEVEN, and old friend, now turned foe. I've been in several wars, taken several lives, disliked many people, things, creatures, beings. But nothing runs through my veins more than the hatred I hold for these people. It took my disapating to realize that I was the best thing they had to offer, and now they are nothing to me.. dust beneath my feet". Olive hues looked back into the vortex, seeing her dragon scales, and through the vortex yellow hues, but on the right side of the mirror they appeared olive green and her skin was of human texture, and rosy in tone.
She pressed her fingers deeper into the vortex seeking to empty her thoughts. "I am not one to stir violence, but this is a battle that I need to take part in. The time to destroy them is now, if such stupidity has possessed Dawn, her sister, Trinity, and her impudant third in command, Mikael then they deserve the suffering, and they deserve to die. It could be seen as brutality in a sense, but I have unfinished business with them, and I can't sleep contently without going through this battle. There are a few things, I must brush up on then. I need to seek out a few I have been observing in the land of the unholy, and begin working on a transformation. It's time to adapt to their ways, and leave the thoughts of purity and innocense behind. It get's me nowhere, and I am coming into my awakening of what seems to be my destiny. This is where I belong, amongst the best, and I can't wait until this war has began, by the first day it will be over, we will banish whatever name SEVEN claims to have for themselves". Pulling her fingertips out of the mirror, she watched as it solidified once more, and she took a few steps back now, looking at a darker side of herself only visible through the vortex. And where her face on one side, the side of reality that they all knew remained straight, and in deep thought. Within the vortex, a twisted smile rested there.
A transformation for Aubrie, was in the making.
